Munich, 7 May 2020 – SML, the world’s leader in real-time streaming is supporting egoFM and the “United We Stream Bayern” initiative to help local clubs by offering its unique streaming technology.
The international platform “United We Stream” started in Berlin. egoFM is the exclusive partner for the “United We Stream Bayern” and has helped spread the platform to Bavaria four weeks ago. The initiative streams performances from well-known DJs, musicians and visual artists live from various music venues throughout Bavaria. This comes in response to the fact that the clubs in Bavaria are closed and the rest of the republic is also in quarantine. The Bavarian clubs declare their solidarity and jointly bring the largest digital club to fans’ homes.

The lockdown has caused an economic disruption to the market. An emergency donation aid – “Initiative Future of Bavarian Clubs & Venues” – has been founded specifically for the administration of emergency aid and distribution of donations.
Since Saturday, May 2nd, the station has been offering free streams three times a week from 8:00 p.m. via egoFM.de – fans have been able to enjoy beats and disco glitter in their home! Some of the free-state’s greatest clubs, such as: Harry Klein, Neuraum and Pacha from Munich and The Rocket and House 33 from Nuremberg have joined the initiative to brighten up the dullness brought on by the lock-down. About United We Stream Bayern
Initiated in Berlin, other cities and regions had soon enough jumped on the train to “The party goes on online! – to show solidarity to clubs suffering financially from the COVID-19 restrictions. UWS Bayern has been participating since Tuesday, April 7, 2020.
In cooperation with ARTE Concert, the initiative supports clubs and music venues as well as musicians and DJ’s to share their music virtually while playing live from different Bavarian venues in throughout Bavarian regions. Users are encouraged to donate to become supporters of the virtual experience and the shaken subculture. The primary purpose of the donations is to help clubs and music venues in need in the precarious Corona crisis, who are in need through no fault of their own.
